JCDS is a remarkable school in large part thanks to the generosity of our donors: parents, grandparents, alumni, friends, foundations, corporations and others. As a result of all of their contributions, JCDS provides the education that forms the foundation of lifelong learning for a generation of Jewish youth.

As is the case at most independent schools, tuition alone does not adequately fund our programs and facilities. Each year, we look to our donor community to help close the gap between these funds and the financial resources that enable us to sustain and continually refine our exceptional school program. In addition, JCDS provides Flexible Tuition to a greater percent of its families than any other large day school in the Boston area; while this helps ensure a day school education for a wide array of families, it also requires substantial resources. Thus, every single donation, however large or small, is responsible for the school’s success.

This year, we achieved an extraordinary milestone: JCDS purchased its building and the surrounding eight acres. Now that we have a permanent home, we are free to plan and strategize about the many uses for this land. The donors who made this acquisition possible and their faith in the future of our school helped secure an amazing future for JCDS.
