Religious Pluralism in an Atmosphere of Respect

JCDS is a trans-denominational learning community of adults and children. The school is not affiliated with any branch of Judaism. Drawing from a diversity of backgrounds, our community includes families and individuals whose practice and observance of Judaism vary widely. This is JCDS's strength. JCDS supports each family in its own decisions and observances. The school explores Jewish traditions from many vantage points - language, history, texts, ritual, spirituality, music and culture. Exposure to such richness in an open, respectful setting will allow our children to confront boldly and creatively the complexities of living a meaningful Jewish life in the modern world.
